Brand new Verizon RAZR M. First day, battery dropped to 10%. Plugged it in overnight. In the morning it was at 2%. Tried 2 AC chargers, and one car charger to no avail. Shut phone off to save last bit of battery, then plugged it in one more time. Motorola logo came on, then the battery screen showed 5% and charging. Proceeded to charge all the way. Same thing happened second day. Once it starts charging I can pull the cord out and plug back in and it stats charging again ok. So it is either triggered by being disconnected for a certain period of time, or when the battery drops below a certain threshold. Anyone seen anything like this? Any ideas?

Are you using the Motorola cord and charger? When I got my first one I tried a different cord, and it wouldn't work. Shortly thereafter, my charge port quit working at all. I bought the phone used, and it happened probably the second day I owned it, so I'm not sure if it was cause and effect or if it was just ready to die at that point. I called Verizon and I was able to exchange it for free with the warranty. It might be something to look into.
