Been playing with all the ROMs, and some are great.  But at a cost.  Something doesn't work, fixing that breaks something else.  Have to give up VIsual VM, etc...

 

So I want to go back to stock, latest stock OTA, but rooted.  I can freeze apps and debloat it myself.  In the end, it just works better.

 

I need my phone for work, so giving up VVM is a pain.  Not having a camcorder is a pain.  Wifi tether breaking when I need it is a pain.  Having GPS lock issues, sleep of death, etc...  Just isn't cutting it.  Not knocking any devs or ROM, it is simply the nature of the beast.  ROMs can be faster and add features, but you often have to give up some things or deal with bugs and issues, so in the end, I need to return to stock until this stuff is sorted.

 

So!  Is there a flashable .zip for the latest OTA, that is simply rooted and stuff?  Nothing removed that could break anything, that I can just debloat myself?

And DST is close, but Verizon Visual VM doesn't work with it, at all.  And when I am in sales and on the road a lot, having to call in and retrieve voicemails one at a time like I did in 1996 on a $30 flip phone, isn't cutting it.  LOL

Might I suggest just using the Utility to go back to stock and root. Then you can debloat and have your stuff all work.

Which utility do you recommend?  There are a few out there, IRRC.
