I need to know what to do to refresh my internal storage, i have a droid razr maxx 4.1.2 cdma jellybean rooted and i tried the droid razr utility xt912 and selected option 1 to wipe data and still my internal was showing 0.83gb, then i tried a total factory reset erase everything and still the same 0.83gb for my internal storage, i just want to start from scratch with my internal storage and free it up, is there possibly a way to do this maybe in ss 3.11, any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks!

You can try a factory reset and select to do internal sd card

edit: unless that is what you meant above :)

yeah that's what i meant and i tried the factory reset and my internal storage still shows 0.83gb, i'm surprised because i used the droid utility 912xt and that didn't even wipe my data when i used option 1, i must be doing something wrong or missed something

A FDR or fastboot back to stock typically will not erase your internal storage.....
The best way (especially after a fresh fastboot back to stock) to gain internal storage is to format the internal storage either by menu/settings/storage, if you don't mind losing the data on the internal....

I would plug into computer by USB, in mass storage mode ..... make a copy of your internal storage to your computer.... just in case :)

Then you can format the internal.....either thru the menus on the phone or using the computer.. :)

We appreciate the kind words. It is a little less busy here lately. Seems like it gets that way as more people are just having less issues overall. It always gets busy again, with updates and new phones being released

Oh well that's understandable, hey I wanted your thoughts on a phone I was checking out, aside from the x phone I have had my eye on the htc one, it seems to be a pretty awesome phone with the specs and battery life and I just wanted your input on it, again thank you, Happy Fathers Day

How can I take advantage of the 16GB of Internal Storage, my XT912 has SDCARD0 which is 8GB in size and is used like a non-removable SD Memory card and I have an 32GB microSD card in it, but the specs also show the phone has 16GB of internal storage. I have Root Explorer Pro and I can't seem to find the storage. Can anyone point the location of this storage, or tell me how to clean/utilize it..?

That 16gb is usually rounded up and includes the system partitions.
