Trying to flash Eclipse v5 from eclipserom.com, i wipe everything, that works, then reboot recovery mount everything flash and it says failed, but when i unmount everything and flash it claims to have finished but it actuality didn't, what gives? I seem to be the only one with this problem..

Have you tried CWM??

Also why are you mounting "everything"??

It should be wipe data, cache, dalvik, system, then mount system and flash rom.

Have you tried other ROMs or redownloaded eclipse? (Definitely worth flashing!).

This might be a ridiculous question,.but you'd be surprised....

Are you bootloader unlocked using twrp? If so which version?
You aren't using safe strap are you? (Easy mistake, visually very similar)

Are you flashing g-apps at the same time? I have seen some AOSP roms that don't boot without the g-apps flash at the same time as the rom

I've rooted many droids I was thinking of flashing in safe strap and loading the backup. As the restore function works. Thank god.

The process I have been using for flashing roms on my unlocked device are: (twrp 2.5) wipe cache/dalvik, data, wipe system. Reboot recovery, mount system, flash rom and gapps then reboot. I used this method for eclipse 5.0, pacman, cm10 + 10.1,and slimbean. Did it this morning for 6/16 pacman update coming from eclipse.

**Don't forget to backup your last working roms/stock, unless you like starting all over....

Sent from my DROID Razr M
try without mounting, it has the kernel in it so you shouldnt have to.

Yes, I loaded eclipse 5.0 without mounting anything, flashed the first time with no issues, booted up pretty quickly too

Have you considered that you have a bad download? I had to try three times to get a download, but that was in a weak signal area... Just a thought

you only need to mount for roms that do not have a kernel. If your unsure look in the zip for a file named Boot.img

Don't most roms now have their own kernel? As in cm10.1,pac,etc?

Sent from my DROID Razr M

Kind of... It's still a changeover because before the Bootloader unlock they did not need them due to the way safestrap worked. We are now still in the transition period back to normal rom flashing style.
