We can go from 84 to 85 or 85 to 84. Fastboot force the 6.12.181 files, moto recovery to the update of your choice with installing the zipAs far as I know there is no way to go from 84 to 85 since we cannot fastboot back to 173 or 181 at the moment

I stand corrected. So if we fastboot back to 181 does that put us back on the upgrade path??

I did not know we could flash between .84 and .85... KI have the .181 FB files what needs to be done to get to .85 from .84?
Flashing fastboot files will fail as I understood it so how do you 'Force' them so I can install then .85 ZIP?

If this is true, why dont we get everyone stuck on the same leak so we do not run into issues once a fix is found. Also I read before that you can NOT go from 84 to 85. In fact wasnt it posted in bold red?? Not saying your a liar but if this is the case I would love to get on to. 85.

So .84 to. 85 does not work correct? I have 84 set up the way I like but I head 85 has a different kernel?

If one other condition is met, yes. That condition being that the OTA must be the same as, compatible with, or higher version than the one included in .84/.85.

So does this work or not?

Ummm... you may want to be more specific. Are you talking about CDMA 85, fastbooting back to 81, going from 84 to 85, kernel versions or OTA updates??? Guess we slid a bit off topic. Lol...
