Hey guys,

 

I've been tweaking with my XT912 since I got it a few months ago- I was impressed with all of the overclocking options/governors/schedulers available for blur roms, but ultimately UI wise I like 4.2.2 based roms better (for the record, I've been bouncing back and forth between Aviator Blur and Carbon; awesome roms so props to their respective developers!).

 

So, has anyone come up with extra kernel modules for kexec based AOSP roms?  I know dtrail has a custom kernel which looks like amazing work, but my Razr just doesn't seem to want to play nicely with it.  I'd love to be able to flash and tweak different governors and schedulers.  There was a previous post

where dtrail released them for the 3.0.31 kernel, but I haven't been able to find anything that works on the newer 3.0.8 kexec kernels.

 

Any ideas?

Don't you just install governors to /system/lib/modules and then add the scripts to init.d folder for on boot?

That's what I tried to do, but when I run them in SManager the insmod commands return Exec Format Errors. When I reboot, the governors are not available in any cpu app I have (no frills, set cpu, tweakers nor trickster). I can only assume that those modules don't work with the newer versions of cm based roms

Ever get these to work??? Seems like the newer cm builds don't like these modules anymore.
