so you are saying that you took the battery and back cover from maxx and put in original razr and now battery is wacked out?

Yes. Exactly what i did. It can die, completely. Ill plug in charger, within 10 min show 100%

If you're able to, let it die. With the phone off, charge to 100%.

I have, and while powered off within about 10 to 20 min it shows 100%

If i just leave it pluged if it shows 100% it cuts of power to battery right? If not ill just leave it powered off and pluged in for a day or 2

I did a fact reset, re setup, and charged all night. I will check for light after this try.

I have saw the online kit yes. Thats why i was asking, figured someone had done this already and had some experience.
Im also sure i have read about others doing the conversion this way, but never read of anything like this.

After this go, and i check the light, i will probly put back all original and see how it goes.
May have just been a bad battery,?

Also now in system settings it shows razr maxx, so seams as though it would b able to handle it

Well seams to be doing better. (Fingers crossed). Im still @90% with 5 hours. 30 min talk and 55 min display. Hoping this run down clears me up.

Ok. So it went great till 70% at about 14 hours. Then fom 70 to 20 in the blink of an eye to power off within 5 min.
So i just put it back on original mobo, charhing now. Will c if just that mobo or if battery is fried.

Didnt seem to be. I checked when swapping back.
When i swapped batt was @15% when i swapped n booted it showed 50. Rebooted back @100. So im charging up and will see.

Just a quick question. I installed this on my good n working razr and on my battery problem maxx . Both showed 22 hours estimated life on a full charge. Seems the maxx would have shown more.. right... what do you see with this app on a full charge.

K thanks. Either way, with it back in original mobo i am at 32 hours and 30%. With 4 hours screen 1hour15m calls and bout 3 r 4 hours of pandora with screen off. This is more of what i expect from a maxx.
I dont know what the problem was on og mobo. But i have 2 more maxx's arriving today. One with bad esn. So i will give it another go today.

I actually tried to kill it last few hours. Very happy with this.. now if i can get it tobwork on og.

Actually i think one of the connectors on the mobo was slightly bent. I put old maxx back together and all worked well. I put og razr back together and sold it as parts.

Not the 2 screws that hold battery connector, but the spring pins under that, that actually connect the battery. One was slid up a little bit. Must have been the culprit. I slid it back and reassembled. The og ran and worked as normal. But due to the prob i sent it out as parts only.
My brother is happy with his. 84 maxx. So thats all that matters
