and i'm sure I'll appreciate his work once Im not retarded and figure it out....

1.) Download the utility to your computer

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

2) Extract the utility to a folder on your computer
- You should end up with a folder called "Files" and a batch file (.bat)

3) Verify you have the latest Moto drivers installed

4) Run the utiliy

5) Select the option to 'restore' .181

6) Follow any directions it provides (press any key when the device is ready for the next step, or anything of that sort).

7) Get yourself a bag of Cheetos, nachos, hummus, or whatever else you enjoy

8) Enjoy life

Hope I'm not to late, and this helps. Haven't felt too good latel, sorry for the slow response.

Now...should I assume that this won't work for me because my phone is not rooted? No matter what I do it says "path not specified"

Yes, Your device does have to be rooted to install any of the leaks. If that's what your doing. :-)

See, i'm just trying to get back to stock to receive the ota official updates. I don't want to be stuck on this build. Is there a certain routing utility or does this one do it all?

Matts utility (the one were talking about) does it all pretty much. Did you follow snives's post? He got it right on. Follow that to a T and you'll be golden. Just follow the prompts to root after you restore

Did you download the motorola drivers and install them on your pc?
Did you put your phone in fastboot mode by shutting it down and then starting it while holding the power and the volume up and volume down at the same time?
I don't believe you have to be rooted to use Matt's utility because one of the options in Matt's utility is to root your phone.

If I was you. I would take the long rout. Rsd lite and sbf to 744 as that is all I could find. Then use moto fail to gain root. Download ota rootkeeper and make sure you update su binary and protect root. Then temp unroot to update then restore root then check su again for updates. I also let all my apps update too before I moved on to the need update. Then temp unroot and update. Do the same all to 181. Long but it works.

I have Moto Razr....I will cut you.
To powerful to fall into my hands. Click......Rooted. ICS rommed!!!!! Muhahahahah!!!!
