You mean when they "SECURE" the bootloaders? LOL

Remember people, you ALWAYS want to be the LAST PERSON to install an OTA. LAST LAST LAST! Wait for your talented devs to post 4.2.2 Blur roms for you, STAY OFF OFFICIAL AT ALL COSTS!!!!!! You've been warned, over zealous types!

and maybe take away root

so long as the bootloader remains unlocked, re-rooting is as simple as flashing something like the

It's probably 4.2.1 lol.

Tucs is right though, if your bootloader is unlocked, DO NOT INSTALL ANY OTA! Let some devs check it out first to see what's going on with it.

I got a replacement RAZR hd yesterday and it came with the new 9.16.9 I'm rooted but haven't tried to unlock bootloader yet. This update seems to be better on battery other than that i haven't noticed anything else different

I registered last night but didn't think much of the bootloader unlock patch until now... Looks like I'm gonna have to wait, even if I won't have this phone much longer. :)

You may wanna try to unlock and flash back to 9.16.6, 9.16.9 never became official to the general public. I'm sure there are some devices that have it, but it never was talked about and/or released to all owners. Which means the soak is likely to go atop of 9.16.6, not .9.

I love the size of the Note 2, its like perfect for me. Plus I couldn't get the S4 in what I was looking to spend, I got mine on eBay for $440, brand new. Comes with 2 batteries and a charger too. Pretty lucky deal I say!

That is a damn good deal! Enjoy man. I actually debated giving my S4 up for a Note 2. Still thinking about it.
