When I first got my phone I backed up my contacts under a gmail accoun and that account got bombed with spam and junk so I stopped using it and created another gmail account . I now use the second account to back up the contact so I have two gmail accounts and was wondering how I can Change the old gmail account contacts to the new email account. For some reason I can't figure it out and it really grinding my gears I just want all contact under one gmail account and begone with the old email account entirely . thanks to all the bosses for there suggestions

By design, you can't delete the first Google account you you signed into on your on your phone without doing a factory reset. You can delete any you add after that but not the original. Factory data reset is the only way.

I got it to work but already forgot what I did haha. I got the joheebs account with all my contacts to say my new email address. I just needed to dig a little Lil but thanks for or help everything works great.
