Can't install apks from internal or external sd card

Best Answer rnh , 09 July 2013 - 06:12 AM

Solved. A second reflash of the jb system just fixed it. If I hadn't posted this topic I wouldn't have done it again so thanks to everyone for their help. Why it didn't work the first time; who knows?

Suddenly my half year old razr won't install any stored apks. I've reflashed a whole new system, rerooted but had to force safestrap onto it from a titanium backup. No amount of wipes helps. Does anyone have any insights? Thank you.

Sounds like a gremlin in the system .... I would reflash.... you should never have to force safestrap via tibu......

Using Matt's utility or RSDlite to "nuke and repave" will probably be your best bet..... maybe backup and wipe your internal and external storage .... by following this ...

Special thanks to jonnotsomuchahilbillymind - I thought the phone was just getting old - gremlins; corruption, made more sense even after a first reflash
