This is an issue I can't seem to find any info on. On some ROMs (tends to be aosp/cm/aokp) I'll get a weird display issue where green/purple lines will flash across the sides of the screen.
Most notably I've seen it on the PACman Rom, and can trigger it on the carbon Rom.
It's incredibly hard (if possible) to screenshot as it only happens for a few milli secs, unpredictably.
If anyone wants to try to trigger it on the carbon rom, I've found changing the notification settings to tablet or phablet modes will cause it, as well as the accessibility zoom feature. Disabling those settings will correct it after a reboot.

I plan to at least try to video it happening, or cutting some frames from a video to post.
Assuming (not knowing) it may be a kernel issue.

If anyone has any info, I'd be glad to read.

I have had that happen, and a few others have reported it. It hasn't happened with CM10.1 or AOKP nightlies.

I used to see this occasionally in OD-Redhot but I haven't seen it yet in Carbon or Avatar.

I flashed PACman and noticed it right off the bat. Afterwards, I tried Carbon, and get it after connecting to Wifi. It's the only reason I'm not using them, and use CM10 for the time being.

If you want customization but no screen flickers just use AOKP. I like pacman a lot tho. But the screen issue was so bad. Same with carbon
