Not sure if any of you got this letter as well. I got home last night to find out starting sep 2013 anyone with insurance on there phone. Going to 8 $ a month now. Going up almost 2 $ more. Anyway to screw us. How many of you got that letter?

Did it come from Verizon or from someone/somewhere else?

That awkward feeling you get when you reach into your pocket & find someone else's hand there....

Some might think that, but if I do not want the service I will not pay for it. It always annoys me when I read posts by people who state they will claim they lost their phone, when they have not, in order to utilize the insurance.

this was announced a while back that they were upping their cost "to continue to provide superior support" aka greedy bastards wanted a bigger bonus.

No insurance=No increase.

Also = no replacement for borked phone.... which in the end ends up costing you many times more than the 2 dollar increase.....

I'll give the greedy bastards an extra 2 dollars..... to save myself a few hundred :)

Nothing shocks me with Verizon any more. I'm sure they are trying to find a way to weasel people out of grandfathered unlimited data.

Guess I saved a few bucks when I paid a one time fee for insurance. Usually I end up getting the raw end on those deals. Insurance is a scam I agree with that. But when the alternative is paying $700 for a phone there giving away for free now they don't leave you much choice.
