If there is already a solution, can someone please direct me to the right forum?

I have a Motorola Droid Razr xt910. I don't know if it’s a GSM or not.

I am rooted. I tried to install a font pack on ROM Toolbox and ended up in a bootloop.

I cleared the cache and wiped data. Now I am stuck on the AP Fastboot Mode screen.

I installed something called ADB, because Motorola wasn't appearing in device manager.

I also downloaded RSD Lite but my phone doesn't show on RSD.

I don't know what I am doing wrong. Can someone please assist?

Thank you!

I moved your thread to the help section. Unfortunately we don't have to many 910 users. If you would can you supply more info??

Are you sure it's a 910? Are you rooted? Running stock? Custom rom? System version. You can try to do a factory reset from the recovery menu, Obviously your will lose all your data.

Sorry, it's an XT907.  I hopes this helps.

I also have the file VZW_XT907_4.0.4-7.7.1Q-144_SMQ_S1-36-10_CFC.xml on my pc.

I have found a method of unrooting an XT912 on here but not for XT907.

Can I use that method with RSD Lite but use the above xml instead? Thank you

Please bare with me. I am a noob but also not totally lost. But "running" what? I'm not sure what you mean. I think Jelly Bean 4.2, if that's what you mean.

Device is Locked. Staus code:0

The 907 is a Razr M so we put it in the Razr M help section.  :)

download that file and your gonna flash through rsdlite. make sure your computer has up to date moto drivers. once the file is downloadedunzip to somplace easy to find, make a new folder on your desktop. you are going to have to edit the xml file with something along the lines of notepad++.  unzip the file then once opened scroll down to the bottom youll see the xml file and open that with notepad++, then there are 2 lines you need to delete they   contain GETVAR delete the whole line on both then save open rsdlite press the button that has 3 dots and and find the file you unzipped select the xml. then connect your phone make sure rsd sees your phone and press start. good luck

SWEET!!!  Thanks so much Shane!  I will be donating, that's for sure.  This sure beat the replies I received from other forum sites which is zip.  So do you think I will be able to use the same root method I used dated 4/12/13?

Thanks again,

Jim

Since that is the update, you probably won't be able to root with the previous method. Is your bootloader unlocked?

There should be a link on the front page of the forum.

Yes I tried previous root method twice but no dice. And the post said that Dan won't be providing updates. Am I SOL? What does boot loader unlock mean? How can I tell? I will look for donate link on my pc.

Thanks

You might be SOL, but hopefully someone will find an exploit.  If you are unlocked, it will read "device unlocked" in the fastboot screen.

My bad. I forgot about the fastboot screen already. I've only been looking at it for a month!! I am locked. That bites because I used ROM Toolbox to back up my data. So I suppose I can't install from Drob Box without RTBox.

Honestly, I'm not sure.  I've never done it, so I'm not going tell you something that might be incorrect.
