Hey folks, I have a new Razr HD and am interested in pulling some of the Verizon bloatware off.  Basically, as I look through the app icon's more than half of them are things I don't think I will ever use.  As I look under "running apps", I notice that most of them are things I either don't know what they are or didn't start and that I rarely have more than 200MB of RAM available.

I'm a bit leery of trying to root and debloat without some expert support.  I've seen some stuff on ICS, but since my phone is 4.1.2 (build 9.8.1Q-79-1), I'm not sure it is applicable.  If you can get me pointed in the right direction on how to start, what is safe to remove, etc I  hopefully will be able to search on-line enough to make some progress without damaging my phone or having to pester you too much.

Thanks!

I'm currently on 4.4.2

Phone is rooted and I want to debloat with root uninstaller. Can anybody point out the list of apps, that should not be touched to avoid security bootloop? :)

Probably Root (you must) then install Titanium Backup Pro  (buy it) then freeze the apps you do not want , most likely the easiest way.

also install Super SU so root apps will work

under Titanium Backup pro go to Backup -restore then tap the unwanted apps and freeze them

Do it now you may not be able to later
