What is this?? Just a link that points to your very confusing post on XDA?? I am not even sure what your post is explaining. You need to post more info here explaining what exactly you are trying to do. I'm tempted to lock this post as I don't really like your "this is not a trap" language.

It is a startling post but how is it confusing?

We can maintain our phone w/ rom manager by flashing the photon Q recovery!!! No more PC needed.

I was being cautious about it and that made it confusing perhaps. But after testing it just plain works.

I just now booted to a stock rom backed up & then restored via Photon Q recovery, installed by Rom Manager into my rooted sys that had stock recovery previously!!!!

My issue is that:

1) You are using a recovery made for another phone and while it works for you for now there may be unforeseen issues down the road.

2) Yes I'm sorry but your post is confusing to me and I wonder how confusing it will be to the average user

3) I am not sure what you are trying to accomplish here. What do you need a pc for to maintain your phone?? Are you talking about flashing a recovery?? That's a one time thing and then you can install roms from your phone. Also there is a few zips kicking around that you can flash in stock recovery to install a custom recovery.

I am just trying to prevent issues for our users that may get them in trouble down the road using a recovery created for another phone.

Gonna test and confirm...not sure who the heck even uses CWM on these devices anymore

While I can agree it "works". The screen resolution is not set-up properly for a Razr M so the text is like a font 8. Let's not forget that one can manually or even

that is not only appropriate for their device, but also up-to-date IE (CWM 6.0.3.2 vs 6.0.1.3) AND can be manaually assigned to be recognized by ROM manager anyway.
