I have a RAZR maxx hd 926. I have done the SQL hotspot hack. I can connect and browse internet with iPad but windows 7 laptop has no internet connection. It is connected to the phone. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Windows cab be finicky. Have you tried diagnosing the connection? My bionic would always give it an invalid IP and I would have to diagnose every time I connected. My nexus is very very slow to connect the first time, after that it's all good. To get around both those inconveniences I just use USB tethering when needed.

On my OG RAZR I always have to connect the windoze to the hotspot..... then open a browser on the phone before it fully connects....... now on my Linux ..... it fully connects in a matter of seconds no problem
