Those who have tried it, how close do you think it is to an official OTA release?

Nobody knows for sure. It's rather polished IMO but there's still a few glaring issues.

You never know which version may end up getting deployed. They may create .208, 210, etc. and end up sending out .206

MODs aside, 208 appears to be rock solid. If you aren't trying to do anything it isn't designed for such as rooting or modding or anything a typical user wouldn't do, this works exceedingly well .

Fortunately the developer community is maintaining our doorways into the system to do what we need to do.

208 could pass QA and be relabeled 209 and it would be met with praise by vz customers. Hopefully they reconsider their position on the locked boot loader before release.

I'm on .206 and everything seems to work perfectly for me. I'm not even sure I want to try .208

I installed .208 today and it works great except for one thing, I also had the same problem with .206 which is when you use voice dailing with bluetooth it freezes. Call joe at work, then it says: calling joe....then it freezes. So far everything else is good. Anyone else seen this happen? Right now I'm using cyberon voice from the market, and it's working pretty good.

Was everyone able to upgrade from .206 using Matt's method?

Yeah, as long as you can follow directions and don't wing anything yourself, like closing the utility because it "froze", everyone's fine.

Yeah...I think I'm just going to stick with .79 for now. Really want to flash something new but just too scared. LOL.

Try flashing the KOA cm9 build. It's pretty much flawless as far as I can tell.

I may have to break down and give KOA a try.

Probably won't be any fastboot until after an official release. Keep an eye on this forum & you'll eventually see it posted.

A newer build doesn't mean anything really. They could build up to .350 then release .310 as an OTA. You just never know.
