Using a program that wipes the partitions of other phones isn't a good idea... the partition tables for every phone are different and what could have been the system and boot partitions for the G1 could be the bootloader and recovery partitions for the HD. Since there is absolutely no response from the phone whatsoever I would say its a bootloader brick, I've only had that when I deleted the bootloader on my dads S2.

EDIT: 2K posts!

if you can get into fastboot somehow. if the button combo doesnt work you can try getting there through adb

I would consider at this point trying anything that doesn't require fastboot to install. Perhaps a recovery system if possible.

without adb or fastboot its hopeless i think sorry man, if you see anything online that you think might work i suggest try it cause your phone cant get any worse than it is.

rsd may see your phone, but everything on the phone has been deleted. your bootloader, rocovery, system everything. the phone needs to be in fastboot in order to flash anything and its not there

Basically you have a paper weight the only thing that could fix this I believe at this point

is Motorola.

I think qualcomm itself would have to fix it because he's stuck in the qualcomm bootloader

green LED light is a good sign - I have had this before and have read of others with this as well.

green LED light means that the phone is fully charged and something is working (meaning that it has the right signals to tell the LED to light up upon full charge).

see now if you can get into recovery - you might have to do it blindly (I have done this before and got it to work).  basically, you would press all 3 buttons, release just the power after about 5 seconds, then release the other 2 buttons after about 2 seconds.  wait another 2 seconds, then press the volume down once, then the volume up button - this should get you into your custom recovery.

hope this helps.

otherwise, try again with the droid razr utility.

Keep us posted on how the shop makes out. Wondering how this turns out. Another option might be to get a used unit from eBay or wherever. Might find one already unlocked and rooted.
