Feel free to add your own if you'd like, but here is what I've found to help out with battery life.

Mind you, I'm a battery saving junky since I had my Droid X and the batt wouldn't even last me until 4PM after being off the charger at 730AM (9.5hrs) even in little-to-medium use!

Apps:

4G Toggle - This sits on your homescreen and allows you to quickly toggle between 3G and 4G without going through settings. It's handy tool when you're not in a 3G area, or just don't want to use 4G.

Data Enabler - Another homescreen widget that allows you to shut off data when you're in a bad area, not using it, or using WiFi. It's a one-click option that shuts off 1X, 3G, and 4G.

SmartActions - Learn to love this app. You can customize this to just about anything you do. Bluetooth in the car while driving? It can disable wifi, set screen to auto-brightness, open up your car dock, and change your ringtone if you want, and more.

Here's what I have set as an example:

When I walk into work:
Wi-Fi connects to my network
Data Connection off
Bluetooth off
GPS off
brightness set to min
Ringer to Vibrate

With the combo of these three apps on the Maxx with medium use on average, and leaving it overnight to sleep (with a sleep mode in SmartActions), I'm getting on average 1 day and 12 hours on battery according to my widget.

Feel free to add your own tips/tricks if you'd like! This is an open thread for everyone, so share!

Set smart actions to turn off data when screen is off. This is a HUGE battery saver. I use smart actions in combo with Juice Defender. Also, use SetCpu to make profiles that toggle down your CPU when the screen is off. I use 300/300 when screen is off. I also have profiles for battery levels. 70% toggles down to 300/1000, 40% toggles down to 300/800, 20% 300/600.....Seems to work great.

I have data off on WiFi, almost always run minimum brightness, I'm on ICS leak .209, have 300/300 & data off on screen off, and OG RAZR. My battery lasts 12 hours on a good day. I don't use it often, but when I do, I'm usually watching videos or playing 3D games, or surfing the internet on 4G for an hour or so. I use it lightly for texting periodically too, but the battery life is abysmal when it's being used, it really is.

I second that, it seems no matter what you do for the OG RAZR to conserve battery life, nothing really seems to work.

I've been using juice defender with it set to only control data, gps, and cpu.
Brightness is at auto and I don't use wifi. I normally get ~15 hours with 2 hours of screen time

6hours 9mins at 90% so far this morning. Using setcpu with screen off profile of 300/300. Also using smart action for screen off to disable background sync, cell data, brightness to 0% and gps off. Yesterday before charging the phone up I was at 1day 12hours and some change with 15% battery left.

I have a maxx and stay on 4G all day. I don't use wifi or any other apps like juice defender or smart actions. Its a maxx and I want to use its full capabilities. I take it off charger everyday at 9am and plug it in at 11pm. Good enough for me. I text, check emails, browse the net and stream music throughout the day.

39 hours on my Maxx, personal best, moderate use. I use smart actions sleep mode, just to put it on vibrate. I use wifi a good bit when at home, but never actually turn off data. Moto hotplug governer, no profiles. I adjust screen brightness manually. This includes letting my 23 month old watch Netflix.
