As you all can guess I have a problem with my phone. I have a Razr Maxx that my nephew gave me that he tried to root, and it's been a while, and he can not remember what he did. The only thing I can tell you is that it's from Verizon, and I can get into recovery utility, apply update from external storage, ect. It has something on it called Arctic_HD_0.10.zip, when I ran it earlier I could get the phone to come on, and get into all it functions, but could not get any data service. So can anyone help, I know you will need more info just ask. Also I have tried following some of the links on here and other sites, but not having any luck.

Did you try running Matt's Utility and restoring back to stock? Thats probably the best way to go

You are probably going to need to start over and use Matts utility as Alex said....

Yes Matts site has the utilities as well. Get the one for your device and follow the directions to get your self back to stock. Then if you want you can also use it to get root, install safestrap and from there well your back and ready to install custom rom's.

The utility has everything you should need.

Will the utility download to my computer, or phone? So far all I have downloaded is a toolbar.

Extract to desktop..... if on windows, install Motorola drivers and run the .bat file...... if in Linux or Mac, run the .sh file :)

You can try changing settings in the test menu....

enter *#*#4636#*#* in the dialer

you can then try and change your network type and see if that fixes it

Change it to GSM only.  You'll see the screen flash, or sort of anyway, then change it to LTE/CDMA auto (PRL).  Then give it a little time and see if it connects.
