Best Room to use?

Best Answer jco23 , 07 August 2013 - 10:28 AM

The reason I want an answer is because I want to find ROMs that work with the CWM and superuser I have on my device. Will any M rom work with this really my question because I would like not to brick my device lol. Sorry I am a noob to all this I am lucky I flashed CWM and the superuser to root my phone lmao.

any ROM posted on this Razr M (XT907) forum will work.

the key to remember is which ones are installed via CWM/TWRP or SS.  given that most ROMs developed after April were created after bootloader was unlocked, those will be flashable via CWM/TWRP.

so long as you steer clear of using mods designed for other phones, you won't brick this device.

right now, you'll need to determine which JB version you want: 4.1.2 or 4.2.2.  there are more options with 4.2.2 (thanks to Tim), but everything is 100% working on the 4.1.2 ROMs.

I prefer using a stock deodexed ROM. You can play with mods and remove bloat and everything works.

This is a very subjective question.  There is no "best" ROM - only the one that works best for what you want it to.  If you need stock-based stuff, pick a stock-based one.  Try them all and see which one you like best.
