hello
i have droid razr verizon,
i am stuck in webtop mode, do not want webtop at all, want to permanently delete it.
i went to settings / apps / all apps/ welcome to webtop & webtop mode
have done force stop & clear data , but still cant resolve,
phone gives just few seconds to do this then scree comes to left right webtop mode
kindly help i am i distress
I don't know what I'm doing anymore.....

Clean out your HDMI and USB ports. It is likely that you have some stuff in them that is making your phone think it is plugged in.

I have the same issue
What I do is every time I turn on the phone i go to Settings and then Display and Check HDMI Connection and then uncheck HDMI Connection. That holds me out until next reboot

Mine does the same thing. I went to the webtop thing and forced the thing to stop. I read on another forum that the port where you plug into your HDMI cable is loose. I can stick a small screw drive in it and it moves things around and goes back to doing what it is supposed to do until I hit it on something. So far since going in and stopped the webtop it works fine I hope ( keep fingers xxxx). No support from Verizon because it is out of warranty.
