Looking to see if I can get my razr out of a boot loop after a factory reset. I'm not real good at this stuff, so all the help I can get would be great.

Ok.... we need to know a couple things :) .... rooted? Custom ROM ? Or stock?..... did you simply do a FDR (factory data reset) or did you use Matt's utility to go back to stock ? .... :)

To start, it is stock. It was turning on and off by itself the other day, and me having no tech type skills I called Verizon tech support. They walked me through a factory reset. Now the phone boots up and gets to the page that asks what language. Then if I push the start button it will start to load and then reboot and start all over. If I do not push the start button it will just continue to reboot over and over.

Downloading the file now. I'll give it a shot later and let you know how it works out. It looks like it is pretty straight forward.

Ok.... have you tried booting into recovery
and clearing cache and doing a factory reset?......

Also did you use option 1 of the utility?

Do you have any data on internal storage ? And external SD card? .... even tho it really shouldn't, we've been seeing some interference from data on internal/external storages..... you should be able to remove external SD card and format internal (using windows) then try running utility again.....

When the phone is booted (as much as it can ) ....windows should recognize the internal as a drive..... if it does.... you can right click on the drive and select format....
