Hi All,
I recently got a new Razr Maxx and i am pretty happy with the device in the battery and performance front. Thanks to the great dev who create rom for this awesome device. I live in india and i was a GSM user for last 2 months, my RAZR MAXX worked like charm , including data without any issues.
However i switched to a cdma operator now (Reliance INDIA) and i inserted the OMH sim card in the device. The sim card is recognized and now the Voice and SMS is working perfectly fine. However i am not able to get the data up and running.
Can you give me any workarounds or suggestions to get the data working.? .... Like the GSM patch , is there a patch for CDMA so that it accept Non-verizon cdma sim cards without any issues.
Adding some further details i observed.
With Verizon sim -- when i go to Settings ---> About the phone --> Status ---
I am getting all the fields in there populated .. The MIN Number, Phone Number, Network Type , Network Connection Status etc.
However, when i insert my Local CDMA sim card... The values for MIN Number, Phone Number, Network type, PRL everything is shown as UNKNOWN. Does it has to do something with the SIM TOOL KIT. ?
Please guide me ... Its very tough the pass the day without data in the device. Thanks
