Help - Stuck in Safestrap v3.12

Best Answer mva1985 , 24 August 2013 - 01:46 PM

Okay got into AP Fastboot by hold down all three keys for about ten seconds then released the PWR button only after a couple of seconds the menu came up.

Now I'm trying to flash with RSDlite...   we'll see what happens

Okay I unlocked my bootloader and rooted my razr m so I could play around with some apps that required root.

Then I decided it would be cool to flash a different rom (Energy).  So I installed Safestrap went through the process finally had Energy installed and working EXCEPT for the camera was giving me problems.  Everything was going good except for that.

Then I tried downloading some camera apk's.  None of them would work.

I decided I was just gonna go back to the stock rom and when I attempted that is when I started getting stuck in Safestrap.

So what I'm seeing now is the Safestrap screen when I boot up but it says that Safestrap is DISABLED.  I've tried tapping recovery, continue and just letting the 10 seconds expire and I just wind up with a black screen.

I am unable to start AP Fastboot using the Power + Volume Keys method.  When I try eventually when I let go of the keys the Red M comes up and it goes back to the Safestrap DISABLED screen and then goes black.

And that's where I'm at currently.  Stuck!!!

Did you flash the Energy rom to the stock slot?

Also, getting to ap fastboot, be sure to hold the volume key then tap the power while continuing to hold the volume.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought I was supposed to hold all three down to get into AP fastboot?

I tried holding the volume keys and just tapping the pwr key - still no luck

Now that you have it fixed, and since your bootloader is unlocked, get rid of SafeStrap and use TWRP or CWM.

I will have to look into that.  I haven't used either.

Do they back up the stock rom first and flash a new one?

SafeStrap is based off of TWRP, so you should be pretty familiar with how TWRP works.
