I'm not a big fan of the m series ( or BMW in general) but its a very nice animation nonetheless.... good work

Your boot animation for the M was the only one I've found and it inspired me to learn... haha

haha yeah you basically need to steal one theyre so much..

 

I wanna get into making other things like this for android maybe as big as a kernel or something

for kernels? i know xda has a ton of stuff and how-tos for that. i like the graphics part of android, or tech in general :) if you want to try theming for an app i have a how-to for an apollo theme if you like, i find apps can be fun :)

Thanks! That sounds like a great place to start. I have never really been into the coding but I find this stuff interesting. Do you know anything about porting ROMs? That's probably a loooong way down the road if I ever got to something like that

yeah i sorta have a how-to but for porting you would need to be booted on linux and know how to build from source and use github, if you want to learn how to port i know someone who would be happy to help :)

I'm use to github for programming arduino stuff for an engineering class but don't have Linux. Is that necessary? Or can I user either windows or Mac?

I have been reading this guide from xda about porting. Could I use that or learn from the guy you know?

i have tried stuff like that... never had luck, well droidrzr has a buildbox that will let you build just like if your on linux
