I am having a problem with my Razr Maxx HD. It's completely stock, unrooted, nothing fancy. Running 9.18.79.XT926.Verizon.en.US (Android 4.1.2).

My issue with with the Wireless. Let's start by turning the phone on at home (from a power-off state). The phone will boot and connect to the wifi at the house. I'm running a Netgear R6200 Wireless router at home. It has both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz bands and this issue happens on with either one. So while at home, everything works fine. I then leave the house in the morning and come to work. The phone connects to my Wifi at work and does fine. At work, we use Orinoco AP-4000 WAPs by Proxim wireless. Everything at work operates fine.

I then return home, and the phone appears to connect to the wifi, but it's not REALLY connected. The icon in the notification area is blue like it is supposed to be, but K-9 Mail can't connect to grab mail, for example. If I turn off the wifi and turn it back on, it does the same thing. It appears to connect but won't actually flow data. I have removed the profile for my wireless network (forget network) and reconnected to it and no change. The only way to actually get it working again is to power the phone off and then back on, and that only works until I come back home from work when I have to go through the process of rebooting the phone again.

This will happen anytime I leave the house, connect to another wifi network, then return home. Not just between work and home.

I have tried a static IP on the phone, with static DNS. I've tried changing the DNS settings on the router, and nothing has worked.

Has anyone else had similar issues with the wireless on the Razr HD / Maxx HD?
