Kinda figured I'd start a thread here. I'm very curious to know what your experience is.

For starters:
Once the whole Verizon Data issue from yesterday morning was resolved, I noticed that my data connection seemed VERY much faster and reliable. I was able to download apps very quickly (hardly seeing the status bar go across) and watch YouTube videos at 720p with hardly any interruption. Better yet, when switching from 4g/3g and back, there's no pause, lag, etc. It's pretty seamless.

Haven't tried WiFi - but I hope it's better. Saying "My 4G is faster than WiFi" sounds ridiculous.

I no longer get complaints about the quality of my bluetooth calls. Nor does it disconnect.

I didn't notice anything new or special with the camera.

Most importantly, my phone doesn't seem to do that random reboot thing it was doing before.

All in all (minus the pain it was getting it on my phone) it's a very enjoyable upgrade.

One bad thing I noticed. The battery life sucks even more now -_-

BUT the good ol' SmartActions / JuiceDefender (on "Aggressive") method seems to make that a non-problem.

What are your guys' experience? Do you like it?

Can't say I notice much difference. I'm in a 3G only area, signal about the same, but speed seems slightly better. Not really notice anything different with the camera so far. Never had a random reboot issue, so can't say on that. But the MAIN difference I've noticed is that my battery life has been cut in HALF, compared to what I was getting on RAZRX v1.0.

I never had any problems b 4 update (lucky i guess), seems a lil snapier, my battery seems a little less, but not much. Light to mod use today, but for 2 hours i was in a metal building were i constantly lose sig, lose 3g and get it back (i know this drains bat fast) uploaded some files n pics to dropbox.

I've noticed shutter speed seems faster on camera and actually today has been my best battery performance yet. I streamed music for an hour and the kids played the new penguin game for another hour while I was getting ready for work and just yesterday that same usage drained me to 70 % today though still 90%.. My thoughts are it has to do with the signal I am right on the edge of 4g proir to today it would bounce back and fourth were as today it was m90% 4g. At work all 3g but still better battery performance.

I talked to verizon tech support and they haven't heard of any update for the Droid Razr. I don't understand what update everyone is talking about.

For $#!+s and giggles I added the files into KnowYourDevice files into the preinstall folder and within 5 minutes the OTA update notification appeared. I wonder why Verizon's tech support was not aware of the Update when I called yesterday, unless he was playing dumb. He did mention, when I was inquiring about an update, that they only push the update out to 10,000 devices at a time. The Voodoo OTA Root worked excellent for restoring root. I was afraid the update would take because I somehow restored my main system with one of my backups of my safe system the other day by accident. I tried downloading the OTA with my safesystem but I had a warning before downloading saying I didn't have enough memory which I thought was odd.

Are you using the Smart Actions to get that kind of battery life and if you are, would you mind sharing what you have set up? I am getting about 12 hours before I hit 40% but would very much like to get as much out of this battery as I can lol.

I'm enjoying .748 camera snappy, don't know about batt. I use a person dock apposed to a car dock, so i need to charge minimum twice a day from full charge anyways. (Excessive use) ahahaha.. data... well.. still not worth what i pay unless I'm standing outside.. this is unacceptable VZW i hope you troll our forums.

This is my new setup, haven't ran battery down yet. I will try to today. (T) = trigger (A) = action
SLEEP (T) between 2100 and 0630/ display off (A) no cell data/wifi off/brightness 0/no background sync/ Bluetooth off [this is so i can only get txt and calls @ night, no email notifications ect..]
LOW BATTERY 20% (T) not charging/ battery <20% (A)brightness 0%/gps off/ background sync off
BATTERY EXTENDER(T) display off/ not charging/battery < 70% (A)background sync off
LOW BATTERY 10%(T)not charging/battery <10%(A)display timeout 15 sec/bright 0/gps off/ Bluetooth off/background sync off/ cell data off/ wifi off

Hope my format is understandable, if not please ask

Also everything is manual sync only, except for gmail, and my beautiful weather (every 4 hours), my screen stays at lowest setting (actually wish it could go lower). Hope this helps.

That's still awesome though. I pulled 16 hours yesterday with moderate use and was pretty excited lol.

After my 60% post i bumped up use, played with talktoit (siri like app) burnt up some data had screen on bucku, my 10% smart action kicked on @ 24hrs 45min. I charged soon after. So all in all im still well pleased, light use up to 60% then heavy for several hours and still get over a day. I dont think i can sanely ask for more. I dont know if everyone gets this or if i got a magic blade(as i havnt experienced any, any problems with mine). Hope this in some way helps others, or influences them to jump in and get a blade themselves. :D

Bricked my last RAZR, sent it in, and got a new one. When I got my replacement, immediately did the update before I rooted. No problem re-rooting after update and I have noticed much better battery life; probably along the lines of 30-40% better. The 4G connection seems to be a lot stronger in areas where I have noticed a weak 4G connection before the upgrade. Overall, very happy with the upgrade. Can't wait until ICS release.
