Hello, i recently rooted my Razr Maxx 4.1.2JB, and have not been able to link to my wifi. I have reset my wifi, restarted my phone, re installed root.
Neither of those things worked for me so i was hoping someone might had the same problem and fixed this issue.

I followed all rooting steps and had no installation problem. Like i said, i have have re rooted this phone twice successfully. I used the newer Rooting process, where i had to download the .bat file and execute with cable connected to phone and pc. My wifi signal is strong, and after i type my password it just stalls and keeps telling me it is trying to connect.

Thank you for any input

In a Terminal, type su to become root and then try ./wifical.sh assuming you have it on the rom you have. if that doesnt work, what has worked for me before I heard of wifical was to do a dirty flash over the top and that has fixed it before.

Do you do any Mac address filtering in your router? I did and I had an issue with one ROM that for some reason changed my Mac address. I had to add it to the list of allowed Mac addresses. You might want to check that. One other area is in the wifi menu of your phone. Go to settings, select Wifi, press the menu button, select advanced menu item, and make sure the "avoid poor connections" is not checked. That was another issue I had. It's strange because my wifi signal is strong. Sent from my Droid RAZR under an Eclipse.
