some background first, unlocked bootloader, on twrp2.5.0.0, everything was great UNTIL I downloaded probam rom for 926. flashed it and all was good. I decided I didn't like it and wanted to go back to my D.D. All backups now will not restore, and none of my roms will flash now. They all just bootloop. wtf. Ive never seen this on a unlocked bootloader. Can I flash back to stock on unlocked bootloader? and which one do I use? I'm lost here. Its midnight and need phone for tomarrow at work. anyone have any ideas? By the way I can get into twrp. I can install a rom and they all bootloop now. backups say failed.

Try upgrading to twrp 2.6 then see if a backup will work. Another option is use Matt's utility to go back to stock or rsd back.

I used utility. I've never seen that before.

Ok, I used the utility and went back to stock. then I was able to restore my backups. BE WARNED... the rom PROBAM is what I flashed to start this mess. Not saying it was the cause but it sure seems that way. I think it corrupted my twrp. I forgot how to update twrp. I will dig into it tonight when I get home.

Some people have had issues with twrp 2.5 and 4.3 ROMs. You can fasboot updated twrp or there is a flashable one floating around the internet. Ive been using hashcodes twrp 2.6 from his goo.im with no issues

Maybe that was it. My twrp was to outdated for that ROM.

I found Dhackers cwm 6.0.3.5, does anyone know if this is flashed via fast boot or a flash able zip? No instructions found. If any one has an idea to find latest twrp. I've dug around for a while and not finding it. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk 2

Thanks a million. I flashed the one you gave me. Went and flashed probam again and all is good. I have flashed several 4.3 ROMs with no issues. But probam gave me serious issue. Thanks for all the help. All this just because I'm a freakin crack flasher. I wonder if I can get miui to run now. I like it but it ran like crap.

I am currently sitting on this issue right now.  it wasn't probam that did it, just CM10.2  (so i assume it's exactly what you said.  TWRP 2.5 not playing nice with 4.3).

so you just ran Matt's utility to go back to stock and started fresh?  is there a way i can get the new TWRP through fastboot?

Use Matt's utility to flash back and you will NOT loose unlocked boot loader. I went to play store and got a super user app. Update super user. Then use tucs utility and install twrp. You don't need to install this one via fast boot. I have not had any issues since. Good luck.

can i just use tucs utility right away?  do i have to go back to stock at all?  if the issue is TWRP, do you think i can just upgrade TWRP and see if that works?

I guess my question is...is there a way to upgrade TWRP to the latest version via fastboot?  (since i can't actually get onto my phone haha).

Well...I just don't have root anymore.  and matt's utility is giving me trouble getting it back........

EDIT:  anyway i got root to work, but when i flashed CM10.2 again, it wouldn't go through.  i'm gonna head back to my stock back up and hang out here for a while.  i'm too scared haha.
