Okay so I was curious about encryption a while back, started it up, cancelled it, made sure it was 100% decrypted, and went about my day. It was to the point where I could have a pattern unlock instead of a pin unlock, so I was confident that the encryption process did not take.
Fast forward to two days ago where I decide to get back into flashing. It's been a while and I was new to safestrap, so I accidentally wiped my stock partition not knowing CM 10.1 required romslot-1. After lots of headaches and seemingly random instances of it just messing up, thinking that this would just 100% fix my phone back to stock, I decided to just SBF and try it again.
After the SBF, it wouldn't allow me to get into my SD card. It said another device encrypted it and that I would have to format it. Even after putting in the old pin and doing all kinds of things with encryption, it was toast.
After admitting defeat, I decided to root and install SS back on. Turns out rom-slot1 was already active and booted up the last rom I installed on it just fine... when it didnt before... weird?
Anyway, currently on CM10.1.3 RC2 and its running perfectly. However, romslot-1 recognizes my SD card, stock does not.
What should I do from here? Transfer all important data to my computer, format, then transfer back?
