it wouldnt let me use a slot so I just (dummy I know) flashed over stock and the thing is that I can do nothing with my device...its just stuck on this screen... I can get to another screen that gives me options to boot to recovery, restore, ap boot, no matter what option I pick I goes back to this AP boot screen so Im stuck. Do you know how I can get out of this?

house of moto???

Yes, exactly what he said, a trip through an FXZ flashing. You can do it with straight RSD or you can use the House of Moto and it'll help you through it.

Either is valid. HoM just makes it a bit easier and gives more options.

In a nutshell, this is what you need to do to fix your phone...
o) Make SURE you have the LATEST Moto USB driver installed. (Google Motorola USB driver)
o) Download and extract this to your C:\ folder:
o) Create an FXZ_xt907 folder inside your C:\HouseOfMoto folder
o) Download this:
o) Open that zip, go INTO the directory contained in the zip, select all the files, and extract them to your C:\HouseOfMoto\FXZ_xt907 folder
NOTE: If you see C:\HouseOfMoto\FXZ_xt907\boot.img you did it right. If you see C:\HouseOfMoto\FXZ_xt907\some_long_directory_name\boot.img you did it WRONG. Fix it.
o) Connect your phone to USB with the original OEM USB cable that came with your phone (yes, it matters) to a USB 2 port (not on a hub)
o) Run the HouseOfMoto.bat
o) Tell it you have an xt907
o) Select either RSD or fastboot [snapdragon] flash type
o) Use the KEEP DATA script
Let it do it's thing. Enjoy.

Your phone will be in the AP Fastboot mode when you run this script. Pray it's got enough juice left to flash it. If not, you will need to connect it to a wall charger for a while. NOT on usb for charging. AP Fastboot is what it appears to be booting up to, so, turning it on should get you where the script needs you to be.

SamuriHL , it sent and wrote everything just fine, but it threw an error for "system.img" and just kept on going. Now i'm stuck at the red Motorola Boot Logo, but I can get to Recovery and AP Fastboot, so I think i just need the system.img.ext4 for the 98.18.78 update and i should be fine.. right? or can i use the system.img from
and try to flash it individually in AP Fastboot?
Edit: I just did fastboot erase system for a "clean" flash of system, said permission denied. i freaked out and tried to just do fastboot flash system system.img, all is good. thanks!
edit 2: i think i was wrong. not sure if it's actually flashing anything :
edit 3: well, after a LONG and frustrating night, I finally got it booting back up into the system. Note of reference, if you are on the 5/24/2013 98.18.78 and tamper with the system to where the phone WILL NOT boot ( like /system/lib files) then just follow these instructions, but use the tz.gzm from the 98.18.78 build which can be found with a google search
edit 4:
I just downgraded from bootloader displaying date 5/24/2013 to 3/22/2013, im gonna try to motopocalpyse and unlock bl and write back

I'm glad you were able to work through the issues. However, downgrading won't allow you to unlock. Once the tz partition is updated, you'll find the hard way... Through a flash failure... That it can't ever be downgraded.

yea, i tried all unlocking methods I could find, none worked. oh well. and thanks to your work i still have a phone and not a new kid's toy. thanks!
