So major noob mistake. I flashed over my stock rom. I knew i did it the second i hit the button. Well when I did the flash something did not install right and now I am stuck in fastboot mode. I normally just use safety strap for roms since I am not knowedge able to get any deeper. Can someone point me in a direction to get a stock or custom rom installed using RSD or fastboot. Tried CM10 and PAC though RSD and not luck there.

You need a .xml to flash in RSD.  Plus, PAC and CM are not compatible with a locked bootloader and they're designed to be flashed in recovery anyway.  I don't believe Matt's utility will work on the latest update, but you can use the .xml from here

 and flash it in RSD.  The latest update is the second choice down (78-1).

I will give that a try. I must not of been loading the right .xml file cause I had tried to do that to get it to work. Thanks for the direction. Will let you know if I get it up and running.

Also i ment to say I tried CM and PAC through fastboot and a stock through RSD. Did not realize you needed to be unlocked as well as rooted for those to work.

Got a failed flash again. It failed on the system.img.

Are you using the most up-to-date RSD?

Try my House of Moto with your FXZ.  Flash it in fastboot snapdragon mode.

The HoM has 6.1.5 built in as a private copy of RSD.  So that's another option.

Did that but getting a no valid PIV block in SP for system error

There are two possibilities.  Your FXZ files are wrong.  Or you're not using the original USB cable that came with your phone.  Rectify whichever issue it is and try again.  Also make sure your phone is fully charged.

Ended up working with the updated RSD. Never even thought to check if there was an updated on. Thanks for the help.

Cant get out of dead droid with "!" out of his chest or ap fastboot mode...I flashed the wrong ROM and device wont show on computer with usb....im stuck

First.... to get past the dead droid screen .... hit volume up and hopefully down at same time...... second, what does it say on AP Fastboot screen.....

Were you flashing on a ROM slot or trying to flash over stock?....

You may need to use RSDlite and fxz back to stick... and start over....
