I don't know if this is in the right place, so if it's not then I'll move it to a different section.
But I was wondering if there's a dev willing to make MIUI v5 compatible with XT912? I know over at XDA they made one fully compatible with XT910, and even made a patch allowing XT912 users to boot the ROM up. However, they just stopped developing for us after that, which sucks because when the ROM loaded for XT912, no CDMA, or any signal for that matter was involved. I would really like to see MIUI work and hopefully even use it as my daily driver, and I am sure I'm not alone.
Thanks in advance!

Try the Avatar rom for spyder 9/27 nightly at xda. It's miui clone with a cm 1 base with lots of themes and blur battery life. I put it on my wife's phone because she was sick of cm's problems and this seems to work really well. Don't use the 9/26 build - the keyboard crashes immediately and will not set up.

Thanks! I'm about to try it out right now. I saw that it is 4.3 however, is there a nightly or stable version for 4.2.2? 4.3 and my phone don't usually go together very well

And her's is stable enough to be using as a daily driver am I correct?

It's cm 10.1, not 4.3 and needs to go on ss slot 1

Ah I see. The tag in the topic title said 4.3, while the first post still said 4.2.2, that's why I was confused lol. And yes, I backed up my CM ROM, and I'm going to put Avatar in place of it and see how it works. I'll let you know!

I just put it on my phone because I loved miui on the droid x. Using set cpu or no frills the battery life is blur quality. If you use tibu restore your personal apps only not system ones

Does it come with a kernel that allows overclocking or underclocking? I ask since I see you're using SetCPU or No Frills

Just use one of the cpu controls because it doesn't. You could try the jbx kernel but battery life without cpu control is really fine

I'm using it right now, and it's amazing!! Thanks for recommending it to me. However, for themes, you're only allowed to use the ones on the theme chooser app right? Or can you use standard CM or MIUI themes? I'm sorry, I'm kind of uneducated when it comes to these things

Glad you like it and I could help. I have no idea. But I recognize many of those themes as miui themes. Try the regular ones out for yourself
