This totally blew me away. I get email notifications, but I know I don't get text message notifications. No bar notification, no green light notification, no vibrate, no sound. I have no conflicting applications such as light flow or go sms pro. I have checked everything. Stock Rom Using the default Text Messaging on JB. Here are the screen shots of my settings. I think I checked everything.

when did this start? any apps you added or settings you changed right before it started? Did you try clearing cache and data on the messaging app?
You can also try installing Go or Handcent and see if you get notifications from that app (then you'll know it's the stock app).
I hesitate to say this but you might want to try a factory reset if all else fails.

Started yesterday mid day. One minute I was getting texts the next minute I was not. I do not have any conflicting applications and I have not tried clearing the cache. I will try installing GO SMS Pro and see if that works.
