Hello everyone,

 

I am looking for some help to set up my RAZR MAXX.  It is a replacement for the one that was destroyed on Sunday when a car ran over it.  This replacement arrived a few hours ago and is fully restored by google.

 

But, I still need to root the phone and put in the best possible rom.  This time I am in a position to take advantage of more than one year of development on this website.

 

Would anyone be willing to make recommendations to help me do it right the first time?  I am on a windows 7 computer.  My main useage of the phone is for work.  I do extensive driving.  Therefore, my rom should focus on flawless operations via bluetooth with my car bluetooth.

 

Via bluetooth, I send and receive text messages, play my music, listen to audio books through Audible.com app, send and receive telephone calls, and link my navigation devices.  I have an idea that someone has focused on a rom that may not have everything else; but when it comes to bluetooth, it runs rock solid.  (In the past, my Audible.com app fails to operate after receiving or making a telephone call.  I am confident the problem is reactivating the app and releasing the telephone call.)

 

In addition, if someone is willing to help me work out these details, I would be willing to pay $50 through PayPal for the assistance.

 

Now, would someone please provide me with links to download the best utility to root my phone.  I also need links for some roms to try.  Any other recommendations would be appreciated.

As far as ROMs go .... its pretty much trial and error but for what you are looking for, my recommendation would be to start with stock based ROMs such as RAGE, BloodRAGE, or aviator.....
