Loving the carbon rom on my xt926 but after an update the other day all of a sudden i cannot send mms messages.  I can receive no problem but just wont send pictures or even texts that are too long and converted to mms. any help would be greatly appreciated!

bootloader locked or unlocked?  i.e. if you're using safestrap you can try rebooting into stock, sending an MMS from there and rebooting back into Carbon.

Is this from the "messaging" app?  If so you can try downloading either Go or Handcent and see if you can send an MMS from one of those.

Can also try wiping caches and clearing cache/data from the MMS app you're using.

This is really common with almost all 4.3 firmware that's come out the past few days.  For right now, it's looking like the best option is to revert to the last know functioning version and hang tight for a fix.  It shouldn't be too long of a wait since this recent "bug" is plaguing almost all roms.

yesterday an update came out and seem to fix problem but then this morning woke up and back to the problem so i reflashed yesterday's update and now so far so good.  seems to be working again so if problem hangs up again will just reflash and hopefully a permanent fix will come out.  Also had a question about how often to do a data wipe?  seems like every day or every two days an update comes out and didnt know how often you would recommend to wipe?

as a general rule, there should be no need to wipe data unless there's a major change or you're changing ROMs.  If you're flashing nightlies you should be good to just wipe caches (I will also wipe system most of the time).

hi I just got my droid RAZR HD xt926. Just rooted it a couple of days ago. Just wondering, u said u are using carbon rom. Are u using only safe strap or is your bootloader unlocked? Unfortunately I can't unlock my phone and the only choice I have is using Safestrap. Will I still be able to use a ROM like carbon?

Thanks for your time.
Bruce
