Well I have jumped ship from the M to the X. It has been fun flashing the hell out of my M, but the time came to upgrade. My external speaker was blown and the earpiece stopped working for a bit. Could not trust it. I will still visit the forum as I feel I am addicted. Now to research root for moto x. Happy flashing all.

Way to jump on the band-wagon. Haha, just kidding.;)  Have fun with the X.  I've been thinking about getting one, but I got a line on a pretty good Maxx HD and I'll be making that my primary device.  I'll keep the M for some learning.  Good luck with the phone, I know it will be fun and stick around here.  I know we've had our moments, but don't let that chase you away.

I am not planning on leaving. I still have my M but just can't trust it anymore. I use a phone a lot for work. The M is a great device. This damn X is already a pain. It keeps vocally announcing my text messages. I can't figure out how to turn it off. You gotta love technology.

I have seen this on Smasung phones. Usually a setting about driving mode that needs to be turned off

I had all that stuff off. Deleted data on the assist app. Did a clear cache partition. Booted into safe mode. Nothing worked. Finally did a factory reset. That worked.
