Should fix the bugs for installing recovery and sideloading supersu due to the changed paths.

I'm having some trouble getting this to work. I have installed the adb sideload drivers and when I run the script I choose cwm and then yes to prompt to install recovery. The script then says rebooting into fastboot mode (which it doesn't do) and then immediately prompts me to reboot into recovery mode. At that point it sits at " < waiting for device > ". When it asks me to go to recovery I have done it with with the phone actually in recovery and with it on the red android symbol. I have also tried starting the script while the phone is already in fastboot mode. I have also done this on two different computers and I get the same result.

Any Ideas?

Waiting for device typically means a driver error OR you are not in the right mode (fastboot, normal boot with USB debugging on, etc)

The text of the script is wrong for flashing recovery.  I'll change it.

Just a note, the script is not going to boot into AP Fastboot mode for you.  You have to follow the directions on how to get into it manually.

Great! Thanks a lot man.

Should we start the script while we are in AP Fastboot or wait until it prompts us to?

It doesn't matter.  If you're flashing recovery, you can start it in AP Fastboot mode.  If you're just using it to sideload supersu, you can start it in recovery.

Hey, I'm still having the same problem. I compared the the run.bat files from 1.5 and 1.6 and they are the same, is this supposed to be the case?

It seems like it's skipping the Fastboot part.

EDIT: I entered the commands manually and got it to work, thanks for your help!

Just completed this, Thank you so much Samuri for the instructions.  I'm not very savvy when it comes to this kind of thing, but thankfully, you make it idiot proof (yes, I just called myself an idiot)  That was my first time ever using ADB for anything.  Just out of curiosity, why do you have to use ADB instead of RSD to perform this?

You can't RSD flash the SuperSU zip.  It has to be either pushed to the sdcard and installed manually, or adb sideloaded like this so you don't require an sdcard to install it. My root package for the S4 GPE is even better as it doesn't require you to flash recovery...it loads it in memory to allow you to sideload adb without overwriting your stock recovery.  But it doesn't work on Moto devices.  So we have to flash it.  Flashing recovery could be done with RSD, but, then you'd have to make a custom script for it which is a lot more work than simply discovering the filename and appending it to a fastboot flash recovery command.

I used you r house of Moto 2.0 to get 4.4.2 to install on my maxx HD. Somehow in the mix I flashed the factory loader back onto the phone. so I am using the above described method to re-flash TWRP or CWM boot loader but I keep getting the following message "<bootloader> Variable not supported!" , What am I doing incorrectly? When i load into fastboot I show a status code of 3 and my device indicates Unlocked.

Edit: I have been trying to flash the CFW's from the file named "Razr HD Recoveries v3"

Any assistance is appreciated for this Noob...

You need to use the KK version of CWM.  It's in my How To thread for the KK update.
