If you are like me then any instance where something gets rooted and becomes something the manufacturer did not intend, makes you a little happy and almost get a warm and fuzzy feeling. The Motorola ACTV, meant to be a workout companion, has now been rooted thanks to CMW, and can be turned into your very own Android watch. CMW had to track down a boot .img so that he could enable adb to get this little gem rooted (its a little more complicated than that, so hit up his site to read the full instructions).

What is interesting is that Motorola decided not to lock the bootloader on the ACTV, if only they would see the light and do that on all their devices. If you happened to get a Motorola ACTV for Christmas I suggest you head on over to
