Or you could just download one of the many apps that have already been developed.... such as badass battery monitor.

For what build? If you want one for 211. Look in the thread for Arctic ROM. I put one in the OP using the stock ICS icons.
Mine will work on stock 211.

Tried this on Stock 211 and lost the notification bar altogether. Not blank, but completely gone.

Is your 211 deodexed? Did you wipe cache and dalvik before flashing?

In the development section there is a fully deodexed 211 base. There is also a deodexing tool that is posted here somewhere too.
