Evening Everyone...

 

Okay, this is about my GPS not working...This is what it does:

• Currently using Maps
• All On Buttons are Checked to operate
• Keeps Searching for GPS
• Starts the Narration but never Brings me to the Destination
• Does the same with any App I download for Directions
• Since Maps changed it hasn't worked since....
• Is their any know issues
• What am I missing...

Are you on stock? If not, what has worked many times in the past is to go back to stock and get your gps to get a solid lock. Then go back to the rom of choice.

Nope, Not Stock...Custom ROMs...

 

Stock...are you talking Hard Stock (Not Rooted)...Been trying to Lock on Rooted Stock...Its been a challenge....Hope its not back to Hard Stock to fire this Puppy Up...

Nope, not on Stock...Custom my friend...

 

This has been a Hard Challenge for me...Worked fine until they Updated this App a short time ago... Been trying to get this Sucker to work for 3 weeks...I've done everything I know how...Starts the process but doesn't process the command from Source of Origin or destination...

Are you speaking to Hard Stock (Not Rooted) or Stock (Rooted)

Stock rooted is fine. Back when CM had many gps issues this method seemed to do the trick. I would give it a shot.

Back to Stock (Rooted)...Deleted Maps... Reflashed...will see tomorrow... If this doesn't work Plan B is what...So you know, I'm digging for information too to resolve

GPS will Not Lock on to locations...
Are their Other options than back to Hard Stock...not so sure that will work either....

I'll know tomorrow if the work...did lock this time...

* Created/Cleaned a New Slot...it Locked On....but haven't tried a Destination to confirm...

GPS has been hit or miss for me on some ROMs.
