won't power on and not showing any display when connected to a wall charger. on a pc usb charge the white led stays lit. am i screwed or can i save this? i can't send a rooted phone into verizon.

i let it die out compeltly as i was going to calibrate the battery. no i wasn't flashing a rom.

Your phone won't turn on until it is charged to a certain point, I believe. Plug in and let it charge for a bit then try to turn on.

<br /><br />If it was operating normal and you just let it die, it should not have any problems. However, when it dies completely, the phone will not power back on until the battery is at something like 10%. <br /><br />You plug into the wall charger and the battery icon showing that it charges does not show up? no im getting no charge animation thats why im concerned. this is a refurb so i never got a moto charger. tried several different chargers as well.

Lol that was going to be my next question, what kind of charger are you using? I would bet you just need to gather a charge and it should operate normal.

Everything I've read is to make sure you use a Motorola charger. I have read of people taking the back case off and splicing wires to force charge but i dont know enough to guide you in that if that is what you need.

you mean a non usb to wall adapter charger?

I think pretty much all phones use a micro USB cord now. What I meant is be sure to use a Motorola micro USB cord because others can cause problems.

it's been on a charge for over 10 minutes and nothing. i think it's dead.

ill have to take it into one of my local cell phone repair shops and get it checked out or hope they can buy it off me so i can get another phone. id ship this back to verizon but im not chancing it while it's rooted.
