I'm trying to restore from a backup and it says md 5 sum mismatch. What would cause this to happen?

Corruption in the transfer or while it was in storage

So the backups are useless then? How do you make the backups go to external sd card instead of internal? I moved them I guess that's what corrupted them? I also renamed them so I knew what ROM they were for.

If you renamed them, make sure there are no spaces in the names, use underscores instead. A space will cause the md5 failure.

I had already tried twice. If I rename them again but with no spaces maybe they will work? I also tried two different backups.

Thanks for the help. When I renamed them I used spaces instead of _'s. When I renamed again with _'s it worked.
