Having a hell of a time trying to use RSD the newest version keep getting preflash fail tz. what happend was that I tried ota from .79 to 84 or something but bootloader is unlocked. so i am using TWRP recovery, wiped everything and now says no OS and says no root. will come to the bootloader unlocked warning and will not do anything from there?? what do i need to do i have tried downloading a 4.1.2 and also 4.1.1 firmware, and also edited the xml files to delete the getvar lines? what can I do i really need to get phone working

Thank You

It was 94. If it installed even part way, you will likely need to use its firmware. The tz fail means you are trying to flash an older security version. Here is the DL link for it.

Not at this time that I am aware of. Be sure NOT to attempt the motochopper v1.3 as this will mess things up.

Wait, if bootloader is unlocked and you can flash twrp, you just flash SuperSU zip in twrp and root is done.  Or am I misreading this?

yes, it will flash the 2.5.0 version of TWRP, or replace the twrp image that Matt provides with 2.6.1 or 2.6.3 so that will be flashed instead.

Or grab my universal root method and drop your twrp image into it.  It'll flash twrp for you then walk you through sideloading supersu.  :)
