I bought a Razr Maxx from someone and was told it could be used on the Verizon network because it is a Verizon phone.  I didn't find out until after I couldn't activate it that flashed to the pageplus network  .  I was told to "unflash" the phone which I believe means I need to restore the factory firmware.  Motorola wants me to pay them $159 to do that....  I didn't pay that much for the phone.  Anyone who can help would be greatly appreciated!

If your battery is now low.... you will NEED to buy or make a "factory" cable or adapter to allow the phone to be flashed..... also, if you could provide a bit more information than "invalid flash mode" ..... I.E. what you have attempted to flash, how you attempted to flash it, phone model and firmware/system version etc....:)

The cable or adapter you need is not the OTG.... it is called a factory cable/adapter....they allow flashing with a low battery as they supply power directly to the mainboard within the phone . they are available here ....

Also..... when you run the utility or RSDlite ..... and it fails..... where is it failing? ..... and do you know the system version you were on prior to getting flash failure(s) and invalid flash mode AND what firmware did you attempt to flash with RSDlite ?.....:)

If your battery is low, you need either the cable OR the adapter.... :) either one will work

Unfortunately no, you cannot get the adapter at Walmart ..... it is an exclusive product ..... and as far as "unbricking" ..... like I said, if your battery is low, you need the adapter to unbrick.....:)

There are tutorials on making your own factory cable.... if you are adept at soldering...... Just curious..... it is in-fact a RAZR xt 912 right..... also does it actually say "battery low" in AP Fastboot?.... if you have a wall charger ..... you can try the "workaround" for low battery issues...... Completely power off the phone.... then hold volume down...volume up....and power..... when the menu comes up.... use volume down to go to BP Tools then use volume up to select it...... IMMEDIATELY plug it in to a wall charger NOT the computer...(you may have to try several times to get it)....... if the battery icon comes up then it is charging LEAVE IT ALONE for about 3-4 hours...... then you should be able to run Matt's utility or Sam's House of Moto or RSDlite to flash back to stock.......

Um.... the battery terminals should be clearly marked....... just loosen the screw and place the wire under it then tighten back down..... just be very very very careful that you don't either over tighten the screws or short the terminals...... and of course make sure that the polarity is correct.....
