So I may have jumped in over my head here. I loved my Razr when I first got it, but couldn't stand the uninstallable bloatware Verizon had on it. I saw a tutorial on how to install a custom rom (Eclipse 1.3) and did so. I've had Eclipse on my phone for a while now but I want to upgrade to the newer versions. It has been a looong while since I messed with changing the roms and I forgot just about everything I learned (which wasn't much) and I can't even find the old tutorial I used to install Eclipse in the first place.
Now, I'm not dumb when it comes to computers, so I'm not that much of a newb, but I'm afraid I don't know the procedure I need to follow to upgrade or change my custom rom. I've had a few scares with almost bricking my phone, but fortunately I was able to move files directly to my SD card to restore the custom rom. I'm afraid I've commited the ultimate sin and lost the original stock rom for my phone too.
How far up poopoo creek am I? Is there anything I can do or am I stuck with Eclipse 1.3 forever?
