I'll probably open up a can of worms with this, but, those on *UNLOCKED* phones can use my UNIVERSAL script in the House of Moto to flash older FXZ's.  It will skip the TZ partition.  Why you'd WANT to do this is beyond me.  If you're unlocked, you don't need an "exploitable" version to acquire root, for example.  You just need custom recovery and a supersu zip.

Those who are LOCKED can skip this post as it does NOT apply to you.

SamuriHL,

Ok, I'm in an unlocked xt926. I have RSD Lite with FXZ Files, House of moto tools and the Batakang 9.30.1 file.

If "one" where to ask you (and the group) which way should I proceed to get from (9.16.6) to (9.30.1) without complicating my whole weekend... what would be your recommendation??

NOTE: Not going to hold anyone responsible if life happens ... I'm just asking the more knowledgeable ones for advice.

KEEP DATA script.  Then reflash TWRP recovery and flash supersu zip.  Done.

yeah read some stuff.. re-installed drivers .. reboot pc... re-install ADB drivers.. same junk. (thats with fastboot)

with RSD it just flashed and RSD closes really fast.

Going to try another cable.

Make sure it's not USB 3, as well.  When RSD closes like that it means it can't see the device.
