I was thinking last night about all the apps that I have tried since I got my first android phone. The one app that I have installed on all my phones rooted or not has been Widgetsoid. I have OCD for making things look smooth and found that this app really fits my needs on making things look good. For those of you that are not sure what this app is, let me share with you. Widgetsoid is a widget app that you can add to your homescreen or if rooted to your notification bar. There are many options of things that you can put on it ranging from wifi and GPS toggles to battery level and memory available. If you would like to take a look at it and see if its something that could fill your needs as well, then here you go. Let me know what you think.

I use this app & love it! Great for the stock roms. Once a good custom rom is available though, there usually is no need for it and I uninstall. Most of the custom roms I've used in the past incorporated notification bar toggles. My only gripe with this app: I've never been able to get Widgetsoid's notification bar widget to work without bringing up the popup window - kinda annoying! If the dev could pull that off, I'd rate this 5 stars in a heartbeat! It's nice to have the widget off screen though. Overall, great app though!

I used to us the notification bar widget on my OG Droid without a problem. I had it running on my RAZR but the background color I could never get right so I stopped using it lol. I really enjoy this app for stock Unrooted though since it still gives you a lot of options.

Were you trying to match the color to something?

Yea. But now that I am playing around with it more, I see that the notification window background color always stays no matter what color I choose. I guess I never noticed this or thought about it before since I always had a theme installed so everything went together fine.
